The BEARDS - English Awards

The annual English awards event - The BEARDS (BHASVIC English A (w)RDS) celebrates the best pieces of written work by students in the English department. Students, parents and carers plus staff enjoyed their end of year event in the main hall at BHASVIC with short readings plus refreshments throughout the evening. Readings included emotional accounts of everyday life struggles through to journalism pieces about former TV presenters, politicians plus heart felt poetry.
