Phenomenal success for 63 DofE students on their Gold and Silver expeditions

An amazing achievement for Gold students who hiked nearly 100km over four days, over extraordinarily tricky terrain. The teams showed fantastic resilience supporting each other through the mountains of Snowdonia, through summer storms and wild camping. Congratulations to them all. 

 

Silver students also showed enormous determination in hiking in Ashdown Forest in temperatures of up to 29 degrees. The students were a joy to be with, finding the humor in every situation, singing their way across the Sussex countryside, making new friends and learning new skills. All 40 achieved a strong pass for their expedition section and our congratulations go out to them all.
