Oscar Winner Talk
BHASVIC film and media dept welcomed highly acclaimed Oscar and BAFTA winning Sound Designer, Johnnie Burn, to talk to our students. Johnnie created the extraordinary sound design for the incredible film "The Zone of Interest" which won him his Oscar as well as numerous other awards. He has also created the sound for other classic films such as Jordan Peele's "Nope", Jonathan Glazer's "Under the Skin", and Yorgos Lanthimos' "The Favourite" amongst many others. He has collaborated with the likes of David Bowie and Madonna, and has created numerous award winning soundtracks for advertisements including for Skype and Teams.
We are very grateful to Jonnie for giving up his time to inspire our students with his thought-provoking talk which finished with a Q & A session.
