GB Climbing Team

Anya Hmaimou - Second year BHASVIC student was selected in 2020 for the GB Climbing Team and has competed at 3 World Championships in Korea, Russia and the USA. She combines training at High Sports Brighton with working part time at Boulder Brighton. Anya's love of climbing started when she went on a school trip aged 8 and ever since she finds training enjoyable and practices for 2 days followed by one rest day. Her ambitions revolve around making the senior GB squad team and participating in more international competitions. She is looking to apply to MED schools in Sheffield/Leeds/Manchester where she can continue to pursue her training goals at top climbing training centres.
