Freshers Fair 2023
On Wednesday 27th September we held our biggest ever Freshers Fair. With stands from over 50 clubs & societies, as well as external organisations that support BHASVIC students, there was something for everyone to get involved in. This year saw the launch of brand new student-led clubs including the Pi Society (eat pie and talking about pi!), Origami Society, Psychology Society, and an Anti-Racism Society, as well as established favourites from Model UN, and the Debating Society, to Dungeons and Dragons and Creative Writing.
We also welcomed in representatives from external organisations including All Sorts, YMCA, the NHS, Gatwick Airport, Brighton and Hove Council, Sussex University, Charity KICK, Lunch Positive, and Rainbow Hub.
Our Student Union worked tirelessly alongside out events team to make the event a success for the thousands of students who attended to find out more about our enrichment offer. For those that missed it or want to take a bit more time before deciding on their preferred club or society we will run a Refreshers Fair in January.
