Women’s Football Academy

Women's Football Academy

BHASVIC Women's Football academy is recognised as one of the strongest college academies in the country and we consistently compete at the highest level. With two teams on the programme, our aim is to develop the players and give them to support to continue their footballing journey.

The programme consists of one technical session, one tactical session, strength & conditioning in our brand-new gym and video analysis. This is in addition to the game day where we enter the AOC Premier Division alongside the National Cup, County Cup and Regional Championships.

Joe McTiffen who is head of our women's academy holds a UEFA B coaching licence and is part of the ECFA National Women's Team, recently winning coach of the year at the Sussex FA awards evening. He is supported by Nina Wilson (Ex Professional Footballer and former BHASVIC Captain), Radd Reynolds UEFA GK Coach and Andy King, Head of Sport. To support our players, we also have an academy physio who visits our programme each week to treat our players

If successful, your college timetable will be organised to ensure you can study your favourite subjects, whilst also playing in the academy. Many of our players study three A levels / BTECs alongside their football but there is the option of a specialist programme of Double BTEC Sport and the Women's Football academy.

BHASVIC is renowned for producing some of the strongest teams in the South East and players are now being rewarded with international call ups with England Colleges. Nearly all of our players are now playing for senior women's sides and we also offer the opportunity for to talk to our American provider regarding your future studies.

To be a part of the academy, we ask players to attend a trial process across two phases. It is expected that players are currently playing outside of school and have been playing for at least a few years.
