This portfolio course will provide an introduction to some interesting issues in Economics to students not studying Economics A Level but considering it for a degree, e.g. students studying Politics and thinking of PPE. It will deepen existing Economics students’ understanding, develop their skills of analysis and evaluation and also to provide them with more real-world knowledge to use as application in certain essay questions. It is also an extension to the Economics A Level course where students are able to investigate and discuss topics that have a human and ethical interest and are very current.
