Shaun Attwood gave two talks to over 200 sociology, psychology and criminology students

Shaun Attwood gave two talks to over 200 sociology, psychology and criminology students at BHASVIC. His talks included details of his criminal past as a drug trafficker, his experiences of incarceration within some of America’s toughest prisons as well as his remorse and rehabilitation. Shaun also spoke about his determination to help current prisoners with literacy skills via book donations and his drive to educate young people in the UK about the harsh realities of both crime and punishment. This was a very enriching experience for all the students and staff who attended these sessions and will give BHASVIC students a deeper understanding of the topics- crime, control, gang subcultures, rehabilitation, etc. in their sociology, psychology and criminology syllabuses.
