BHASVIC students joined the city’s Pride celebrations

BHASVIC students joined the city’s Pride celebrations by taking part in the parade on 3rd August. For only the second time in the college’s history, students marched under the specially amended BHASVIC logo of waves and hills (that takes inspiration from the city crest motto of ‘Between the Downs and Sea we Flourish’) which looked fantastic in rainbow colours.

Principal, William Baldwin said ‘I am delighted that we have been able to provide a visible presence at Pride. We are an inclusive college that celebrates diversity and have a colourful bunch of students who have chosen to represent the college during the summer holidays in an event that brings Brighton together, showing we are a central part of this community. My thanks go to the Student Union and to staff who made this possible - I hope in years to come our presence here grows and grows.
